Green-Up Santa Rosa is a retail nursery open to the public.  Proceeds from Green-Up go toward public plantings and in support of our environmental programs.

Our nursery is a wonderful place just to visit. In addition to buying your plants here,  we welcome visitors to explore our two acres of plants. Also on the property is the old Chaver's House (built in 1901).

Green-Up has sponsored the planting of thousands of trees, shrubs and other garden material at city and county parks, schools, and many other public areas.

We offer high quality plants that grow well locally (both native and well-adapted).  We feature a tropical house with tropicals planted in the ground as an education tool.  We also have a propagation house, where we root many of the plants we sell.  Any plants that are brought in are purchased locally, within a 50 mile radius.

Profits from sales of plants and items at Green-Up Santa go back into the community.  Lots of folks enjoy knowing this when they buy plants for their gardens.

In addition to our nursery, we manage the Junius C. Williams education center, where we offer meetings (classes) on a wide variety of subjects, horticultural and environmental.  Generally they are a "brown bag" class, held at lunchtime for an hour on Fridays, noon to 1PM.  Schedules will be posted on this site as developed for this year.
