Coastal Clean-Ups

2011 Coastal Clean-Up was Sept. 17th. at Navarre Beach

We had 241 volunteers in 2011 for our coastal clean-up.  There were large groups from the Navarre NJROTC, Navarre High Marine Science Classes and the Boy Scouts

2010 International Coastal Cleanup Days were Saturdays; September 18 and 25, 8 am - noon, Navarre Beach Public Parking Area

 2010's International Coastal Clean-Up took place on Saturday, September 18 and Saturday, September 25. Allied Waste sponsored the event, which celebrated the 25th year that the International Coastal Conservancy has sponsored the event throughout the world.

September 19, 2009, was International Coastal Cleanup Day at Navarre Beach.

   2009's International Coastal Clean-Up was on Saturday, September 19 from 8 am through 12 noon. Despite the poor weather (rain and lightning) the activity was very successful.  We had 303 volunteers.

   Dumpsters for the 2009 event were provided by Waste Pro.
